Michael Jackson memorabilia up for sale - 02/03/2010

A variety of Michael Jackson memorabilia is to be put up for sale in an online auction, it has been revealed.

The lots on offer include a variety of items from the King of Pop's lifetime, such as original sheets of song lyrics to clothes he wore on stage, according to ITN.

The auction will run be coordinated by Peter Siegel, from the New York-based store Gotta Have It, and will run until March 10th.

Mr Siegel said that as a result of the iconic singer's death, the items he left behind had increased in value and now offered prospective buyers with an investment opportunity.

He told the news provider: "I see clear selling and a lot of up-sight as far as investment potential goes with better Michael Jackson items."

Available lots include the original handwritten lyrics to We Are The World, several Victory Tour costumes and a pair of white rhinestone trousers.
