Outstanding Ottoman silver marriage mirror, Turkey early 20th century

This is a beautiful small mirror with very fine repousse work to the reverse with marks '925' and 'ISIK' for the maker.

Turkish wedding mirrors are a traditional aspect of the marriage ceremony where they are given by the groom to the bride as part of a dowry. They are typically then hung in their home for good luck.
