Large Hubei turquoise silver pendant Necklace, c1960

This is a very large ovoid pendant with a beautiful piece of Hubei turquoise set in a beaded silver mount. It is paired with a silver herringbone chain that is not original to the piece. Both pieces are marked '925'. Hubei indicates a type of turquoise renowned for its colour and quality, from the Hubei Province of China.
