This is a very recognizable design by well known Danish silver maker Niels Erik From (1908-1982) who is was a main player in Danish jewellery between 1940 and 1970. This ring has is set with an amethyst cabachon and is surrounded with an oxidized finish. It is marked Sterling, Denmark N.E. From 925 S
