Art Deco silver and paste stone ring c1920

This is a striking ring that comprises a large facetted paste stone, which looks very much like a blue zircon, set in silver that has been oxidised to add dimension to the detailing. The decoration has elements of Egyptian Revival but is rather a melange of design styles. The shank is marked '900'.
