Spanish red tooled leather Gentlemans trinket dish with coat of arms

This is a very striking square dish with a deep central well made from finely worked red leather and decorated with scrolls and Fleur-de-lis. There is very likely a royal connection here as the embossed decoration includes lions and heraldic shields and the coat of arms presents as those for the house of Castile and León.,
Size: 14 cm x 14 cm
Weight: 145 grams
Date: 1920s
Condition: Very good condition with just two small scuff marks to the interior of the well
Estimate: £10 – 20
