A Chinese famille rose water pot, Jiaqing mark and of the period (1796-1820)
粉彩笔洗, 嘉庆年款, 配有木架及水匙, 嘉庆 (1796-1820)
of typical squat beehive form curving at the shoulder, with a slightly raised lip at the rim of the wide circular opening above a thin gilt and iron-red lined band, finely decorated in enamels with a repeating design of scrolling lotus below a ruyi lappet border, the base with a finely written Jiaqing seal mark in iron-red, with wood stand and small metal spoon (3)

此蜂窝状笔洗沿口稍突, 沿口与肩之间绘有矾红镀金线, 肩部有如意纹, 洗身有莲花卷草装饰, 底部有矾红 “大清嘉庆年制” 六字篆书款, 笔洗配有木架及水匙
本行曾于2011年5月12日拍出一件类似拍品 (Lot 17245), 另一件类似拍品曾在2010年11月10日伦敦苏富比拍出 (Lot 130) 。
