宜兴紫砂泥绘茶壶,荆溪邵正来造款

 

of square form with rounded corners, the teapot lid in the same shape, a lotus seed-shaped finial, a bold handle and spout, two sides enamelled with landscape scene and the others with enamelled calligraphy work of the 'Poem of Teng Wang Ge (Prince of Teng's Pavilion)' by Wang Bo (650-676), the lid with impressed potter's seal mark, the bottom with six character mark reading as: made by Jingxi (Yixing) Shao Zhenglai

 

Shao Zhenglai, a renowned teapot craftsman in Yixing during Jiaqing and Daoguang period.

 

此方形倭角茶壶壶身有加彩山水及王勃“滕王阁诗” 题句, 壶盖也有加彩, 壶钮呈莲子状, 壶盖有“邵正来” 印, 壶底有“荆溪邵正来造” 印

 

邵正来, 清嘉庆道光年间制壶好手。
