Art Nouveau brooch with a large amethyst and enamel work set in silver, c1920

A fine example of Art Nouveau design, this is a very unusual bar brooch set with a most vivid amethyst stone surrounded by floral enamel work. It is marked on the bar 'STERLING SILVER'.

Size: Main setting 18.9mm x16.9mm, Length 55.6mm
