Egyptian bracelet with large faience scarabs, c1920

This is a very bold example of the Egyptian jewellery that was so popular and in fashion in the 1920s. It has stations with typical Egyptian iconography such as papyrus leaves and serpents and is set with three unusually large blue faience scarabs It has Egyptian hallmarks with hieroglyphs on the back of the scarabs and a bespoke clasp and safety chain.

Size: Length 19 cm, Scarab stations are 31.3mm x 22.1mm
