Silver Art Nouveau Necklace with a lady's head, French c1900

This is an amazing find for collectors of Art Nouveau. It is a necklace that features the typical motif of a lady's head with flowing hair, set here amidst stylised swirling waves suggesting perhaps a sea goddess or mermaid. It is set on an unusual chain with round and elongated rounded links which has a watch chain clasp. The pendant is marked 'DEPOSE 900' with a small Dragonfly stamp, perhaps for the maker.
