Victorian Scottish Agate necklace and bracelet Suite, c1900

This is a stunning suite of a necklace and bracelet featuring two large Scottish Agate pieces set in pinchbeck, the necklace with four agate bead drops and the bracelet with a black velvet ribbon that has been added later and complements it well. There are small natural inclusions on the stones that are typical of this type of mineral. Dating is to the late Victorian period when agate jewellery sourced from Scotland enjoyed great popularity.
